Disney on Ice: World's of Fantasy Review

I took my son, my niece and my son's teacher last night to see Disney on Ice World's of Fantasy.  We had such a great time!

First of all, we parked right across the street from the arena and it only cost $5!!  Yay for cheap parking in the city!  As we crossed the street we were surrounded in little princess', Buzz Lightyears, and being greeted by a Lightening McQueen pit crew member at the door. (not really, but the 3 year old in this costume was SO cute!) As we entered the arena we noticed all the fun merchandise, picture opportunities and yummy treats, including funnel cake!  We were greeted at the top of the stairs and were pointed to our seats.  Once we got to the lower level we were greeted by another smiling face, "Ma'am would you like help finding your seats?  Can I help you carry anything?  Who's excited for Woody and Jessie?!"  The Time Warner Cable Arena crew were so welcoming, so helpful and so excited for the event.

It was time for the show to start and everyone in attendance was in extreme excitement.  They started the show with Cars, led into Ariel and then Tinkerbell and her fairy friends!  It was everything we had hoped.  There was magic, familiar songs, bubbles, flying, villians and some of our very favorite Disney faces!

After intermission we were transported right into "Andy's room" and all of our favorite Toy Story friends were there to show us around!

Favorites?  My son, who's 6 years old, loved Toy Story and all the characters.  My niece, who's 4 years old loved Ariel and Tinkerbell (especially when she was flying across the rink!).  My personal favorite was ALL of them, I know, I'm a little difficult!  I have always been a bit of a drama nerd, and production was going to be noticed.  I was amazed with the costumes, Disney did not spare any expense on the elaborate costumes for each character. But my favorite thing of the whole night was watching my son and niece and the gleam in their eyes as each of their favorite characters came on the ice.  That's PRICELESS!

I don't want to give away too much, because I want you to go and enjoy it with your family as well.  If you haven't bought tickets yet, do it!  You will not regret it and your kids will love you forever (well, at least until the end of THIS week).  Be sure to bring jackets for everyone and maybe even a blanket, it does get VERY chilly in there.  How else would the ICE stay cold?  :)

If you're anything like me, I can't afford to take my family to Disney World every year so having this little treat right in our city was so nice.  If you're not in Charlotte, be sure to check it out when it comes to your town you won't regret it!

I received complimentary tickets from Feld Entertainment for my family to attend this event. Any opinions expressed are mine and my families, but we're sure you'll agree.
