Teresa Giudice is different in person. Promise.

I've been meaning to post about this and kept getting behind on life.  I figured with the new season starting back, now is as good a time as any!

Anyways, back in September 2012, a group of us bloggers were invited to The Southern Women's Show on behalf of The Balancing Act TV show.  The celebrity guest was Teresa Giudice, and hello, I'm a Real Housewives junkie!  We got to meet her and ask her a few questions and get to know her in a whole new light.

The one question I was asked the most was, "Is she different in person?" and the answer is yes.  She was so warm, so sweet, she's so much prettier in person, and she LOVES her girls.  Most of us bloggers are moms, so asking her questions about her adorable girls was natural.  And as you'll see in this video, she loved gushing over them.

We also know this is the only cast of Housewives that is ALL family.  Most of these Housewives are friends, neighbors, whatever.  But with Jersey, this is family and that's why the emotions run high.  The more we talked to her the more we saw how the spotlight has changed things for her.  When she told us that she felt like fame was hurting her family and was fighting back tears, we all knew that was the REAL Teresa.  She's dealing with family fights, magazines talking about her and her husband, and still trying to run her empire. At the end of the day she's a mom, just like the rest of us.  Except she gets to flip tables and use awesome one liners on people that rile her up just because it's good television.  Some days, I wish I could do that! 

Oh and FYI, she said it was totally cool if I tell people I know her.  So yea, I do.
